About Me

I’m an independent consultant working with companies from corporates to start-ups to develop agile market strategies and build brands. With clients that have included Coca-Cola Amatil, MILKBooks, NZIE, and Vodafone Fiji, I work with business leaders to define their reason for being, what makes them competitive, and to build a scalable path to re-purchase that’s centred on customer experience.

My passion lies in challenging individuals and organisations to think differently, to look beyond the ‘way it’s always been done’ and embrace the ability of innovation and enterprise to deliver positive impact and development in our fast-paced world.

I’m an advocate for personal empowerment, supporting the notion that life is defined not by what you do, but by who you want to be. I speak on the topics of business, marketing, and self-worth, and I’m always open to a conversation with like-minded individuals. For a list of my most popular speaking subjects, head here.

Throughout my career, I’ve been lucky enough to build brands and design positional strategies for some of the world’s largest multinational corporations including Procter & Gamble, Mondelez International, The Youngs Pub Group and Beam Suntory. Identifying their unique purpose and leveraging this message across functions, I’ve led established brands to expand their reach, turned failing brands around and established new ones from scratch. Outside of my ‘traditional career path’, I spent time building my own music promotions company in the heart of London hosting (at the time) emerging artists like Ed Sheeran, Vula (Basement Jaxx), Jamie Lawson and The Correspondents and launched a live music venue for a premium pub chain in Notting Hill’s Ladbroke Grove.

I’ve traveled the world, lived in 4 different cities long-term and built lifelong relationships across many cultures. I speak 3 languages, have claimed with pride the endearing term my sisters gave me as a “cool geek” and can never walk past a bookshop without heading inside to buy at least 1 new title.
